A lot of fish are about to get caught over the next three days as some of the best anglers in the country come to La Crosse.
The final Bassmaster Elite Series tournament of the season runs from Thursday, August 21 through Sunday, August 24.
101 anglers head out to fish Pools 7, 8, and 9 every morning at 7 a.m. Weigh-ins begin at 3 p.m.
All of the events around the tournament are at the Lumberyard at Copeland Park.
With the exception of a BassmastHER workshop on Saturday, all of the events at the ballpark are free.
A number of Bassmaster sponsors will have tents and displays set up for fans to enjoy.
The winner of the tournament gets a check for $100,000.
In addition, the Elite Series Angler of the Year and Rookie of the Year are determined by how well the anglers do. Both competitions for those titles are close coming into the tournament.
There’s also a number of anglers hoping to do well enough to qualify for the 2026 Bassmaster Classic, known by some as the Super Bowl of Bass Fishing.
