The biggest game of UW-La Crosse coach Matt Janus career on Saturday, as his 13th-ranked Eagles get set to take on the defending National Champions, No. 1 North Central, in Round 3 of the playoffs.

Kickoff is set for noon and WKTY will broadcast the game from Naperville, Ill., on the app, online and on air at 96.7 FM / 580 AM.

Janus has helped lead the Eagles (8-2) to five consecutive playoff appearances, and they’ve been eliminated by North Central on two of those occasions.

While UW-L has made the playoffs five times in a row, the Cardinals (11-0) have been to the national championship five consecutive times, winning three titles — including two of the past three.

North Central’s two playoff wins against UW-L came in 2023 (55-42) and 2021 (34-21).
