The University of Wisconsin volleyball team is headed back to the Final Four.
The 11th-ranked Badgers knocked off second-ranked Texas 3-1 on Sunday on the Longhorns home court.
Wisconsin (28-4) will now face No. 3 Kentucky on Thursday in Kansas City, Missouri, to get back to the NCAA championship — where it last won it all back in 2021.
The Badgers have yet to play the Wildcats (29-2) this season. Kentucky’s only losses have come to 3-0 to Pitt and 3-2 to Nebraska.
Meanwhile, the top-ranked Cornhuskers came into the tournament 33-0 and were upset by No. 10 Texas A&M 3-2 on Sunday.
The Aggies (27-4) will take on No. 5 Pitt (30-4) on the other half of the bracket.
The NCAA championship will happen at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21.
Since winning the title, the Badgers have been to at least the Elite Eight twice and the Final Four once. They lost to Texas in the 2023 Final Four.
In the win over Texas, Mimi Colyer had 23 kills, while teammate Charlie Fuebringer finished with 57 assists.
