Wisconsin will wear special alternate uniforms in a game for a second straight year and just the second time since 2021.
The Badgers unveiled their uniforms Thursday morning for their matchup with Notre Dame on Sept. 6 at Lambeau Field. It will be the first true alternate they’ve worn since the last time the two teams faced each other at Soldier Field in Chicago in 2021.

Wisconsin will be wearing red helmets for the first time since 2014 under Gary Andersen. The Badgers went 7-0 over the two seasons that Andersen was the coach.
The Irish will also be wearing alternates, which they released on Wednesday.
